About Me
I’m a film director with a deep love for stories that live and breathe outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, backcountry snowboarding, fly fishing or just wandering off the map, I find inspiration where the wild things are. I’m at my best when I get to direct on location under open skies. I love projects where I can combine my personal passions with filmmaking, and I bring that same energy and curiosity to every shoot. I enjoy working with real people. Non-actors often give the most surprising and memorable performances when they get the right kind of direction and support. There’s something special about those honest moments, and I like creating an atmosphere on set where they can happen naturally. Since 2018, I’ve been directing at Flatlight, a production company based in the North. Before that, I worked as a freelance DOP and editor, mostly in food and fashion. That background has shaped my visual eye and given me the experience to carry a story all the way from concept to final frame. More than anything, I believe great things happen when you work with good people. Good energy spreads, and it shows on screen. With over 10 years of experience, I’ve built a broad skillset to deliver strong results. In my free time, you’ll usually find me outdoors doing what I love, like freeriding, mountain biking or fly fishing.
